SBI Funds Management Leads IPO Week with Rs 11,980 Crore Target

The upcoming week will see significant activity in the Indian IPO market, with SBI Funds Management leading the charge by aiming to raise Rs 11,980 crore through its public offering. The IPO, set to open on July 14 and close on July 16, is entirely an offer for sale of 20.37 crore shares, with a price band of Rs 545-574 per share.

SBI Funds Management, India's largest asset management company, will not receive any proceeds from the IPO as it is an offer for sale. The shares are expected to be listed on BSE and NSE on July 21. The company manages SBI Mutual Fund and is a joint venture between State Bank of India and Amundi. As of 2025, it managed around Rs 16.32 lakh crore in assets, representing about 15.5% of India’s total mutual fund AUM.

Alpine Texworld, a textile processing company, will also open its IPO on July 14, aiming to raise Rs 126.25 crore through a fresh issue of 1.20 crore shares. The company plans to use Rs 32.08 crore from the proceeds to establish a new weaving unit in Ahmedabad and Rs 52.20 crore to repay borrowings. The shares are expected to list on July 21.

In the SME segment, Millworks Technologies plans to raise Rs 160.34 crore with its IPO, also opening on July 14. The company has set a price band of Rs 315-331 per share and is experiencing high demand in the grey market, with a GMP exceeding 100%.

SBI Funds Management's financial performance has been robust, with revenue rising 17% to Rs 4,976.11 crore in FY26 and profit after tax increasing 21% to Rs 3,067.38 crore. Similarly, Alpine Texworld reported a 47% increase in revenue to Rs 350.18 crore and a 152% rise in profit after tax to Rs 21.72 crore in FY26.
