Allah Ghazanfar is one of Afghanistan’s most exciting young spin prospects, emerging from a system known for producing quality spinners. A tall off-spinner from Paktia, he initially started as a fast bowler before switching to spin, a move that accelerated his rise through the ranks. He made his international debut at a very young age and quickly made an impact in ODIs, picking up 23 wickets in 14 matches at an impressive average, including two five-wicket hauls.

At the franchise level, Ghazanfar has built a strong reputation as a wicket-taking option in T20 cricket, combining control with attacking intent. Despite being picked in the IPL earlier, he is yet to make his debut in the league, having missed opportunities due to limited chances and injury setbacks.
