- Big-hitting batter hailing from Rajouri in the Jammu region who can also bowl useful leg-spin.
- Spotted at the age of 16 during a trial camp in Jammu in 2018 by Irfan Pathan and Milap Mewada who were Jammu and Kashmir’s player-cum-mentor and head coach respectively at that time.
- Debut for J&K in the 2018-19 season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and made an immediate impact with an unbeaten 76 off 51 balls.
- Became a regular member of the J&K team in the 2019–20 season.
- Scored back-to-back explosive centuries in his debut Ranji Trophy season.
- Picked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 20 lakh for the 2020 IPL.
- Used primarily as a finisher in his debut IPL season and played a few cameos.
- Despite inconsistency in the following season, he was retained by SRH for INR 4 crore ahead of IPL 2022.
