Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore
About
Known for his consistency and economical bowling, Sai Kishore continued to impress at the domestic level. He was the leading wicket-taker in the 2019-20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and earned a gig as a net bowler for CSK in 2019. The following year, the franchise rewarded him with a contract but didn’t get a game. It was a similar story in 2021 as well - he continued performing exceptionally at the domestic level but couldn’t quite break into his IPL side. He even got an India call-up during their tour to Sri Lanka in 2021 but once again, didn’t get an opportunity to play. That was about to change in 2022 after he was picked up by the Gujarat Titans. During their title-winning season, Sai Kishore impressed in the handful of opportunities he got and lived up to his reputation of being a miserly bowler. He backed it up with another stellar domestic season in which he was Tamil Nadu’s highest wicket-taker at the 2022-23 Ranji Trophy.
Further rewards were waiting as he went on to get his India cap during the Asian Games in 2023. He played all three of India’s games in that tournament including the final which India won to secure the Gold medal. He played five games for the Gujarat Titans in the 2024 edition and picked up 7 wickets. The Gujarat Titans retained his services for INR 2 Cr using the RTM card at the 2025 IPL Auction.
